FW Gross Sunday
What a wonderful time of fellowship we shared with our FW Gross Elementary family on Sunday, April 28. Kelly Gabrysch, Principal and Jesse Olivarez, Family Support Specialist, shared their thoughts and thankfulness for this partnership we share. Jesse compared our ministry to the school as a mustard seed….and that now it is the responsibility of the staff and students to spread that seed so that it can grow at their new schools. We received a beautiful plaque which we will proudly hang reminding us all of the impact our church made on the students and staff of our first school ministry. Refreshments were enjoyed by all and we all loved the performance by the FW Gross Ballet Folklorico dancers. It was a special time and we are thankful for all that attended and for those from our FW Gross family that worshipped with us on this special day.
Letter we received:
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
"Our mission is to honor God through worship, witness and service to others as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.."
Your mission and discipleship is reflective of each and every one of you. We have been blessed beyond measure with the service that you blanketed our school with for the past two years. Our hearts are heavy with the closing of our school but know that through prayer we will all be in good hands. I cannot thank you enough for the endless amount of kindness you have shared with us and our students and we will never forget it! You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless all of you.
Yours in Christ,
