Come One, Come All
This is a senior adult class with 51 members on the roll, averaging 20-25 on any given Sunday. The class, ages range between 60-93, has been led by Curtis Reece for twenty years. Many various topics, studies and events have been discussed and shaped the group throughout its existence. The group has two main socials, one in the summer as well as a Christmas celebration. Although the class has a definite senior status, it is very active in Christian and community events. The class members are nurturing, forgiving, and have formed strong bonds as they care for one another. This class is known best for celebrating each other’s joys and lifting each other up in times of sorrow. This class is out going and welcoming. Like the name says – Come One, Come All.
This group began as a group of young adults with small children, now its members range fro 35’s to 60’s. The class has addresses a variety of topics that helps them live a Christian life in today’s world. Whether it is contemporary literature or traditional scripture, lessons are approached from a Biblical point of view. Members don’t always agree on major issues, which can lead to lively (yet respectful) discussions. This rambunctious group stays busy with Church functions and social gatherings, help each other in times of need, and hold one another accountable for their actions. The are in every sense of the word a true family.
This class of 15 to 20 members, ranges in ages of 40-80. Depending on the study, the leaders rotate. The Seekers meet in the educational building room with a wall full of beautiful crosses, each as unique as the person who presented it. Current events and scripture come together to create discussion, debate and fellowship.
This is an all-inclusive adult class with a 20+ year tradition of fellowship and service to our church and community. The members study using the Bible, study guides, common lectionary and current or controversial topics. This vocal, loving group encourages an atmosphere of participation and expression of one’s views. Teaching responsibilities are passed between members with topics chosen by the class. Besides occasional class parties, the members have fellowship every Tuesday at various restaurants.
The New Horizons Class is a large and very active group of men and women, ages mid-60’s and up. Class members are involved in many of the various duties and ministries of the Church. We were originally “the young adult class” and, though the description no longer applies, we are still full of fun and Christian fellowship. Social events remain a class favorite, and these usually involve food. Class lessons usually evolve from current events within the church, community or nation. We are a warm and friendly group who love each other and welcome all visitors.

One of the first classes organized in the church, is now over sixty years old. It’s purpose: to glorify God and his son Jesus Christ in our every day lives; to support the church and it’s good works; to increase and spread knowledge and understanding of the Bible; and promote Christian fellowship. In addition to Bible study, members hold class offices and the group celebrates with social events.
