Youth Outreach

Compassion International

Every week youth are invited to share an offering that goes to our sponsored child through Compassion International.  David lives in Guatemala.  He makes his home with his father and mother who both are employed.  Running errands is his household duty.  David is not attending school because he is too young.  Soccer, playing with cars and playing ball games are his favorite activities.  He also attends Sunday school regularly. 

Because of our sponsorship, David will have new opportunities to learn and grow physically, mentally, and spiritually.  Please keep David in your prayers.

VCAM

Victoria Christian Assistance Ministry is a local ministries that assist people with groceries, prescriptions, and some bills.   Our youth group supports this ministry by holding canned food drives each year.  

Kairos Prison Ministry

At least once a year the youth spend an evening baking cookies for the local Kairos Retreat that is held in a regional prison.  The Kairos is a three day event where those who are incarcerated are able to focus on their walk with Christ and be renewed in the Holy Spirit.  The cookies we bake serve as a gift of agape (love) to every brother in white.
