Methodist Day
School as
a ministry
of First United
Methodist Church
is to provide
Christian - based
education and
care that fosters
the spiritual, social and economic
growth of each child through our team of dedicated and
qualified staff in a secure, compassionate environment.
Our Curriculum
The learning experiences and materials we use are planned to
provide developmentally appropriate cognitive, motor and
relational skills that help children develop a Christian awareness of themselves, others and the world around them. Music, computer, physical education, and other enrichment experiences are provided. A member of the church staff provides a weekly chapel service.
Our Location
Classes are conducted in our new Children's Ministry Center at 206 W. Power (Corner of Glass and Power). Director's Office is on the second floor. Phone: 361-576-6620
School Hours
Classes meet from 8:30am until 11:30am. The Early Bird Program is available beginning at 7:30am. We also offer a Lunch Bunch Program through 1:00pm and Extended Day Program through 5:30pm.
