Day SchoolMethodist Day School offers preschool for ages 18 months to kindergarten. Registration for the 2012-2013 school year opens to the public on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00am. Registration is first come, first served. Placement in classes is determined by the age of the student as of September 1, 2012. Please click on the links below to download the needed forms.

Our Mission
The mission of Methodist Day School as a ministry of First
United Methodist Church is to provide Christian - based
education and care that fosters the spiritual, social and
economic growth of each child through our team of dedicated
and qualified staff in a secure, compassionate environment.
Our Curriculum
The learning experiences and materials we use are planned to provide developmentally appropriate cognitive, motor and relational skills that help children develop a Christian awareness of themselves, others and the world around them. Music, computer, physical education, and other enrichment experiences are provided. A member of the church staff provides a weekly chapel service.

Classes are conducted in our Children's Ministry Center at 206 W. Power (Corner of Glass and Power).

School Hours
Classes meet from 8:30am until 11:30am. The Early Bird Program is available beginning at 7:30am. We also offer a Lunch Bunch Program through 1:00pm and Extended Day Program through 5:30pm.
Scholarship (Tuition Assisatance)
The Methodist Day School Scholarship Program is funded by a scholarship fund and First United Methodist Church members. Tuition assistance is based on financial need and is granted for one school year. A new application for assistance is required for each school year. In order to be considered for a scholarship for the entire 2012-2013 school year, application and supporting documents must be submitted by March 1, 2012. Applications will be accepted throughout the year, and additional scholarships may be awarded as funds are available.
